Haber wins fifth Ivy League soccer player of the week award

ITHACA, N.Y. - Toronto's Daniel Haber has been named the NCAA Ivy League's top men's soccer player of the week for a conference-record fifth time this season.

The Cornell junior forward scored his 18th goal of the season in a 1-0 win over Columbia on Saturday to give the Big Red the Ivy League title for the first time since 1977.

Haber also won Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 3, Sept. 10, Sept. 24 and Oct. 15.

Haber currently leads all NCAA Division I players with 2.73 points per game and is second with 1.16 goals per game.
