PUEBLA, Mexico - Canada has been drawn in a group with Cuba and Nicaragua in Group B of the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The 12-team regional tournament is scheduled from Feb. 18 to March 3 in Puebla.
Canadian coach Nick Dasovic is hoping to lead his squad to one of four berths from CONCACAF, which covers North and Central America and the Caribbean.
Group A features the U.S., Costa Rica and Haiti. Group C is made up of Jamaica, Panama and Puerto Rico against each other while Group D comprises defending champion Mexico play El Salvador and Curacao.
The first- and second-place teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals, scheduled for Feb. 26-27.
The four semifinalists, who will face off March 1, advance to the world championship starting June 21 in Turkey.
