It appears centre Danny Briere will not take the ice with when the Philadelphia Flyers open their season and he may not be on the team's 23-game roster when it is announced on Friday.
According to CSN Philly, the Flyers will likely list Briere as "non-roster/injured" due to a hairline wrist fracture.
The move would allow the Flyers to open up a roster spot for Tommy Sestito, while Briere works his way back from the injury.
Briere may also miss Sunday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
