Philadelphia Flyers forward Harry Zolnierczyk has been suspended four games for charging Ottawa Senators defenceman Mike Lundin during Saturday's contest.

The incident occurred at the 9:13 mark in the first period of the Flyers 2-1 victory over the Senators.

Zolnierczyk appeared to leave his feet as he delivered a high hit to Lundin who remained down on the ice before leaving the game. Lundin did not return to the action due to an upper-body injury.

The Flyers forward was assessed a five-minute major for charging and a game misconduct.

Zolnierczyk has appeared in six games so far this season for the Flyers and has one assist and 36 penalty minutes. He will forfeit just under $13,000 in salary during the suspension.

The 25-year-old Toronto native is in his second NHL season after signing with the Flyers as an undrafted free agent. The ban is the first of his career.
