REGINA - The top-ranked Windsor Lancers and Regina Cougars will face each other in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's basketball championship final.

In the other semifinal, Brittany Read had a tournament-high 24 points and an astonishing 29 rebounds as the Cougars slammed the Saint Mary's Huskies 78-49.

Windsor and Regina will meet for the CIS title on Sunday.

"It was a tough battle tonight but we got the job done," Windsor head coach Chantal Vallee said. "We've been in the final before and we know how difficult it is to play three games in a row, but we're happy we're in that spot again and we'll feel as good as anybody in the final tomorrow."

Korissa Williams chipped in with 19 points for Windsor while Laura Mullins added 16.
