Hannover scores late goal to beat last-place Greuther Fuerth

STUTTGART, Germany -- Sergio da Silva Pinto scored late to give Hannover a 3-2 victory at Gruether Fuerth in the Bundesliga on Friday, leaving the last-place team still without a home win.

Greuther Fuerth is all but certain to be relegated. It has three wins, all away.

Hannover went ahead in the 36th through Mohammed Abdellaoue, who poked home a low cross from Didier Ya Konan. Greuther Fuerth pulled level in the 41st, when Nikola Djurdjic picked up a pass at the edge of the area, faked Karim Haggui and slotted inside the near post.

Andre Hoffmann headed in from a corner in the 71st, but Djurdjic completed his brace in the 83rd, before Pinto notched the winner.

Greuther Fuerth missed several good chances to collect its first home win.
