Rusnak: Therrien wants to apply pressure to Senators

If it's not broken then don't fix it, that's Michel Therrien's mindset when it comes to his line up tomorrow night against the Senators.

Therrien is expected to go with the same guys he finished the season with last Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Meaning Jeff Halpern, Colby Armstrong, Yannick Weber, Davis Drewiske and Tomas Kaberle are all expected to be the scratches tomorrow night.

Despite Travis Moen's struggles this year, which resulted in him being benched for two games in the last week of the season, Therrien believes Moen's performance last Saturday in Toronto proves he got the message. The Habs will need veteran players like Moen to help guide the young and not so young five players who will be experiencing the playoffs for the first time, those being Jarred Tinordi, Alex Galchenyuk, Brendan Gallagher, Max Pacioretty and Raphael Diaz.

Therrien made sure to sit down with each of those five players this week, his message to them, as well as the rest of the team, when it comes to dealing with the pressures of the playoffs:  "Don't feel the pressure, apply the pressure." With the Habs playoff schedule getting pushed back by two days, the Habs made full use of the extra practice time to work on special teams.

"Everyone knows special teams are huge in the playoffs and we need to be ready" Brian Gionta said after today's practice.

The Habs-  Sens match up gets underway from the Bell Centre tomorrow at 7pm et/4pm pt.
