Game day is finally here and the Montreal Canadiens players can't wait to get the series going. This is the longest rest of the year for Montreal, as they haven't had four days off between games all season long.

This morning the Habs opted for an optional skate, the players that decided to take the option were: Tomas Plekanec, Rene Bourque, Brian Gionta, Michael Ryder, Brandon Prust and Francis Bouillon. The common theme repeated among the Habs players who spoke to the media today is that they feel prepared going into tonight's game.

Up front Colby Armstrong and Jeff Halpern won't dress for tonight's game, on defense Yannick Weber, Davis Drewiske and Tomas Kaberle will watch this game from the press box.

Jarred Tinordi, one of the five Habs players taking part in the playoffs for the first time, will have his dad, former NHL defenseman Mark Tinordi, in the crowd tonight. "I spoke to him a bit, he just told me to go out there and play my game and I'll be fine" Tinordi said this morning.

Expect to see this line up for the Habs tonight:

Ryder - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Bourque
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher
Moen - White - Prust

Markov - Subban
Gorges - Diaz
Bouillon - Tinordi
