According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the Vancouver Canucks' interview process for their next head coach will continue with Scott Arniel and Glen Gulutzan believed to be getting an audience either Wednesday or Thursday.

Dreger is also reasonably sure that Toronto Marlies head coach Dallas Eakins will get a second interview with the Canucks, but Dreger has been told that Eakins has not had it yet.

Dreger reports that the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers will also be in the mix for Eakins' services.

Arniel was head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets for parts of two seasons beginning in 2010-11 and compiled a 45-60-18 record in 123 games with the club. Last season he was the head coach of the AHL's Chicago Wolves.

Gulutzan was fired on May 14 after two seasons in Dallas. He compiled a record of 64-57-9 in his first NHL head coaching job, and his team missed the playoffs in both of his seasons behind the bench.

Eakins has been the Marlies bench boss since 2009 and has two years left on his three-year AHL deal. The deal includes a clause which allows him to pursue NHL opportunities this summer.

Eakins led the Marlies to a 43-23-3-7 record this season before they were eliminated in the Western Conference semifinals.
