MEILEN, Switzerland -- Gregory Rast sprinted clear in the final kilometre to win the sixth stage of the Tour de Suisse following a four-man breakaway on Thursday.
BMC Racing's Mathias Frank finished in the main field to retain the yellow jersey and his 23-second lead over Roman Kreuziger of Saxo-Tinkoff.
Rast, Mathew Hayman, Alexandr Kolobnev and Bert Grabsch pulled clear of the peloton early in the 186km stage from Leuggern to Meilen, with the quartet finishing more than 10 minutes ahead of the main field.
Swiss rider Rast timed his sprint finish to perfection and ended up coasting to the line to win for RadioShack Leopard, finishing 25 seconds ahead of second-place Hayman. Kolobnev was third.
