Senators re-sign forward Da Costa to a one-year contract

The Ottawa Senators have s re-signed forward Stephane Da Costa to a one-year, two-way contract.

Da Costa, 24, spend the majority of the 2012-13 season with the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators, sharing the team lead with 38 points (including 13 goals). He also appeared in nine games with Ottawa, scoring once and adding one assist.

In 35 career National Hockey League games, Da Costa has scored four goals, while adding three assists and eight penalty minutes.

Da Costa was originally signed by the Senators as an undrafted college free agent on March 31, 2011, after two NCAA seasons with Hockey East's Merrimack College.
