According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, former Detroit Red Wings forward Daniel Cleary will be signing with the Philadelphia Flyers.
The report states Cleary will sign for three years with an annual average salary of $2.75 million. The deal, which will include a no trade clause, will not be made official until the end of the month.
The two sides have agreed to a Professional Tryout with Cleary reporting to training camp on Wednesday and according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com, if all goes well, he'll sign with the Flyers.
TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger added that some cap management by the Flyers will be required before the deal can be done.
The 34-year-old Cleary had nine goals and 15 points for the Red Wings in the lockout shortened season last year.
In his career, Cleary has 160 goals and 377 points in 869 games.
