It looks like at least one of the suspended players from the Biogenesis case could be back in action come playoff time.
Major League Baseball tweeted on Tuesday that Detroit Tigers SS Jhonny Peralta will join the team for workouts in Chicago on Wednesday.
Peralta, one of 12 players suspended in the Biogenesis case, is eligible to return from suspension for the last three games of the regular season.
Peralta would be a boost for Detroit heading into the postseason. In 104 games this season, the 31-year-old from the Dominican Republic batted .305 with 11 home runs and 54 RBIs.
Peralta is a career .268 hitter with 156 homers and 697 RBIs.
