Edmonton Eskimos announced on Friday that quarterback Mike Reilly has been medically cleared to play against the Montreal Alouettes after sustaining a concussion last week against the Toronto Argonauts.

Reilly was injured in the first half of the game on a hit from Argos defensive end Cleyon Laing.

Though he stayed down after the hit, he was not immediately removed but did leave after throwing a touchdown pass on the next play.

The 28-year-old passed the CFL's standardized and mandated return-to-play protocol.

The Eskimos had announced on Monday that Reilly was out indefinitely with a concussion.

His status for the game against the Alouettes has not yet been determined.
