The Winnipeg Jets continue a four-game Central Division road trip in Denver tonight against the Colorado Avalanche.

TSN 1290's coverage begins with Hustler & Lawless at 3pm.  Rick Ralph hosts the Official Jets Pre-game Show at 5pm.  Shane Hnidy and Brian Munz will have the play-by-play at 6pm.  You can also watch the game on TSN Jets with Dennis Beyak and Brian Engblom.

Winnipeg enters tonight's game sixth in the Central Division with a 5-5-2 record, one point behind fifth place Nashville and two back of fourth place St. Louis.

The Jets held an optional skate this morning at Pepsi Center.

Tonight is Olli Jokinen's 1,100th NHL game, while James Wright plays NHL game 100.

Evander Kane continues to lead the Jets in goals (6), points (9), shots (62) and hits (40).

Colorado also had an optional pre-game skate today.

The Avalanche lead the Central Division with a 9-1 record, three points ahead of Chicago and Minnesota.

Their start has equalled the best record to open a season in franchise history. The Quebec Nordiques lost only once in the first 10 games of the 1994-95 NHL season.

Matt Duchene is the top player offensively with eight goals and 12 points.

Colorado has the top-ranked penalty kill in the NHL, allowing just three goals against on 34 opposing power plays (91%).

This is the first of five games between Winnipeg and Colorado.  The next game is December 12 at MTS Centre.

Following tonight's game, the Jets fly to St. Louis and play the Blues Tuesday night (7pm on TSN 1290 and TSN Jets).
