The Saskatchewan Roughriders received good news on the injury front ahead of their Western Final showdown with the Calgary Stampeders Sunday.

Slotback Chris Getzlaf practiced with the first-team offence on Thursday, lending more hope the 30-year-old will play against Calgary.

Getzlaf sprained his knee in Saskatchewan's Week 18 loss to the Stampeders.

The 30-year-old non-import led the team in receiving yards with 1,045 and had seven touchdowns on the year.
