Canadian first baseman Justin Morneau could be on the verge of finding a new home, as Jon Heyman of CBS Sports is reporting the veteran has agreed to a two-year, $13 million deal with the Colorado Rockies.

Morneau split last year with the Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates, combined he hit 17 home runs and produced 77 RBIs.

The 32-year-old former American League MVP was dealt from the Twins to the Pirates for Alex Presley and Duke Welker at the trade deadline.

Prior to the trade, Morneau spent his entire MLB career with the Twins who drafted him in the third round of the 1999 amateur draft.
