Richard Sherman believes it's easy for a team to show a player respect; do it with money.
The Seattle Seahawks cornerback, widely considered to be the best cornerback in the league, told the NFL Network that the Seahawks will show how much they appreciate him in contract negotiations.
"Whatever they feel I am due. I will take it as respect," Sherman told NFL Network. "It's all about respect in this game, and the only way people show respect is the dollars. We'll see what happens."
Sherman will enter the final year of his contract next season with the team and player currently involved in negotiations for an extension.
The 26-year-old was an integral part of Seattle's Super Bowl-winning squad last year.
