SYDNEY, Australia -- Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson of Ottawa won her fourth medal in four days on Friday at the New South Wales swimming championships.

Seltenreich-Hodgson lead a 1-2 Canadian finish in the women's 200-metre individual medley with her third gold of the meet in two minutes 15.64 seconds. Breanne Siwicki of Winnipeg was second in 2:18.32 and Laura Crockart of Australia third in 2:20.58.

"I was definitely looking for the win," said Seltenreich-Hodgson, 17, the age group national record holder in the event. "But I was hoping my time would be better. This is the fourth day of competition and I guess I'm starting to feel some fatigue. I'm just trying to power through it."

That increased the 14-member Canadian junior team's medal tally to 15 with six gold, eight silver and a bronze to increase its lead in the 17-18 age group medal standings.

Siwicki was also second to Seltenreich-Hodgson in the 400-metre IM earlier this week.

"I was right around my best time," Siwicki said. "The front half of the race is what I've been working a lot on in training and that paid off tonight."

In the women's 100-m butterfly, Devon Bibault of Edmonton was edged at the finish, taking the silver in 1:00.17. Emma McKeon of Australia was the winner in 1:00.04 while Erin Stamp of Guelph, Ont., was fifth in 1:03.83.

In the men's 200-metre IM, Luke Reilly of Richmond, B.C. was just over a second from the winner with his personal best 2:04.85 clocking for second spot. Tomas Elliott of Australia was the winner in 2:03.80 while Aly Abdel-Khalik of Toronto took seventh.

"My breaststroke was a lot better," Reilly said. "It's something I worked on a lot in the training camp here."

Mohamed Eldah of Dartmouth, N.S., and Omar Arafa of Mississauga, Ont., were seventh and ninth respectively in the men's 100-metre butterfly final.
