TORONTO -- Top-seeded Stephanie Dubois dropped a three-set decision to Italy's Camila Giorgi in semifinal play at the Tevlin Challenger event Saturday.
Giorgi defeated Dubois, of Laval, Que., 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to advance to Sunday's final on the indoor showcourt at the Rexall Centre.
Giorgi will meet Hungary's Aniko Kapros for the title at the $50,000 tournament. Kapros advanced on a walkover as Toronto's Sharon Fichman could not play due to a sprained ankle.
