Canada's Milos Raonic will have to wait another day to make his Olympic debut.
Raonic, who was scheduled to face Japan's Tatsuma Ito Sunday afternoon, had his first-round match postponed until Monday due to rain. The Thornhill, Ont., native announced the news via Twitter.
Rain wreaked havoc at Wimbledon on Day 2, forcing multiple delays to the first set of matches and causing London organizers to cancel all afternoon matches.
Canada's Daniel Nestor and Vasek Pospisil were among those affected by the delays. They were scheduled to play their opening match in men's doubles.
Pospisil is currently in a rain delay with Spain's David Ferrer in men's singles. He trails the fourth-seeded Ferrer 6-4 after one set.
Aleksandra Wozniak, the lone Canadian on the women's side, has not had her match postponed to Monday.
