MONTREAL -- Rising tennis star Eugenie Bouchard will lead a young Canadian Fed Cup team into Colombia for an Americas Zone Group I tie in February.

Bouchard, a native of Westmount, Que., won junior women's singles and doubles titles last year at Wimbledon. Joining her on the roster are Gabriela Dabrowski of Ottawa, Toronto's Sharon Fichman and Stephanie Dubois of Laval, Que.

"Our team has a good mix of experience and youth," team captain Sylvain Bruneau said Tuesday in a release. "The girls are very motivated to get Canada back into a World Group II playoff. I believe that this group is up to the challenge that awaits us in Colombia."

Bouchard made her Fed Cup debut in 2011 against Slovenia in a World Group II playoff tie and won her first singles match in a 3-2 loss for Canada.

Dabrowski will be making her first appearance on the Fed Cup team. The 20-year-old is a former junior Orange Bowl champion and has won five ITF doubles crowns in her career, including two last season.

Fichman, 22, has a record of 15-5 since making her Fed Cup debut in 2005.

Dubois, 26, is the veteran of the Canadian squad as she prepares to compete in the 23rd Fed Cup tie of her career. She has a 22-10 record since making her Fed Cup debut in 2004.

Aleksandra Wozniak of Blainville, Que., Canada's top women's singles player, is unavailable due to a shoulder injury.
