TORONTO - Toronto FC will be down four starters next month thanks to the Gold Cup.

The U.S. team has summoned Toronto captain/midfielder Michael Bradley and striker Jozy Altidore, two of the MLS club's three designated players. Canada called up fullback Ashtone Morgan and midfielder Jonathan Osorio, as well as reserve goalkeeper Quillan Roberts.

The CONCACAF championship runs July 7 to 26, with Canada's pre-tournament camp starting June 28. Toronto FC has four MLS games and a friendly against England's Sunderland during the duration of the competition.

The U.S., the defending Gold Cup champion, opens pool play on July 7 against Honduras in Dallas before facing Haiti on July 10 in Foxborough, Mass., and Panama on July 13 in Kansas City.

Canada opens July 8 against El Salvador in Carson, Calif., before playing Jamaica on Houston on July 11 and Costa Rica in Toronto in July 14.
