The Hamilton Tiger-Cats lost two key contributors to their offence in Monday's 34-18 win over the Toronto Argonauts. Running back C.J. Gable and receiver Andy Fantuz both left the game with injuries and did not return. Gable took a hard hit in the first-half and was taken to a local hospital with an elbow injury. Fantuz slipped on the turf and appeared to injure his arm during the fall later in the game.

Gable, who had 20 carries for 135 yards rushing in last week's 31-21 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders, took a hit and immediately favoured his elbow. The 27-year-old Southern California was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Anthony Woodson has stepped in for Gable in the Hamilton backfield.

Gable, who was limited to only seven games last season after shoulder and ankle injuries, missed the first three games of the Ticats' 2015 season due a broken finger incurred during training camp.

Fantuz has been one of QB Zach Collaros' favourite options this year. The 31-year-old Canadian has 30 receptions for 311 yards so far this season.
