Bernier also talks about his team's mental mistakes and how the team can take care of it no problem.

1:10 - Ray Ferraro, TSN Hockey Analyst

Ray watched the Bertuzzi-Moore incident unfold while he was watching the game with his family. He says he never experienced any sort of atmosphere like that and would have never have guessed this situation would still be ongoing to this day. He understands that teams have to look after their guys, but he finds it ridiculous that it all unfolded the way it did. Ray also explains why this case is still ongoing and why Moore has yet to take a plea, he's not doing it for the money, he's doing it so that people remember what actions transpired that night.

1:30 - Sean Pronger, Former NHLer & Author

The Journeyman talks about his time with the Vancouver Canucks (3 games in total) and when he was on the ice for the Bertuzzi-Moore incident. He's surprised that this is still in the courts and admits to not having been contacted by any lawyers. Pronger explains that prior to the game, the team had no plan of going after Moore, but knew some sort of retribution had to be done.

2:20 - Paul Lukas, ESPN Uni Watch

Lukas, from ESPN's Uniform Watch, says the Toronto Raptors bringing back their old purple jerseys. He feels that they are the worst jerseys in NBA history, but knows that people will always look back on old/ugly uniforms with a certain nostalgia factor and will grow to love them.

2:30 - Dave Feschuk, Toronto Star (in studio)

As a former Raptors Beat guy, Feschuk talks about the old Raptors jerseys and admits to thinking they were ugly as well. He also reflects on some of the awful players that played for the Raps back in the Skydome days. He also gives an update on Dave Bolland and how he's in game form but not FULL game form. He says that Bolland has been losing footraces to Colton Orr still. Feschuk also explains how Bolland has been feeling pressured by Randy Carlyle to come back.

3:00 - Richard Griffin, Toronto Star

Richard Griffin gives an update on the Toronto Blue Jays pitching situation. Alex Anthopoulos feels that Drew Hutchison is ready to be a starter in this league and is confident he can crack the rotation. Griffin is also happy with the fact that AA has stayed calm this past offseason by not making any massive moves, and feels that the Santana contract talks are at a standstill.

After a hectic Trade Deadline day, Ray joins the show and talks about the Anaheim Ducks at the deadline and how they did not keep pace with the Western Conference - only downgraded by getting rid of Dustin Penner. 2:20 - Jeremy White, WGR 550 Radio Host (Buffalo)

White talks about the emotions of people in Buffalo following the announcement that they're getting that extra home game back. For the most part, he claims people have a positive view on the game returning, but are still weary of the fact that the Bills might eventually be relocated. There's also no animosity from the city of Toronto but more so towards the Bills after this catastrophe.

2:30 - Dave Naylor, TSN Drive Host

The TSN Drive host chats with Bryan about the Buffalo Bills in Toronto series as well. He admits to thinking that it would have been great but became an absolute embarrassment for both parties. He feels that the series the done in Toronto and that it is more likely that the Bills relocate than they do another game like this. Naylor then delves into the Argos and talks about how they need to brand themselves better and improve the in-game experience to become more relevant in this market.

3:00 - Dwane Casey, Toronto Raptors Head Coach

Dwane Casey explains what it will take for his team to be successful in the NBA playoffs, claims that they have to become desperate to become gamechangers down the stretch, and especially if they can make noise in the playoffs. He then talks about the maturation and growth of Demar Derozan and how he's become a superstar in this league, his team playing with confidence in the 4th quarter, and goes in-depth on the big man Jonas Valanciunas (and how he's never disappointed him with his play and still has to treat him as he would any other 21 year old, even though he's a young star in this league).

3:30 - Pierre Lebrun, TSN Hockey Insider

Pierre recaps Tradecentre and talks about how Tomas Vanek almost became a Toronto Maple Leaf. He feels that Vanek could become reborn in Montreal, but his value was diminished this season and at the Olympics. However, Pierre claimed it could be similar to an Alex Kovalev type situation where he comes in as a rental but could end up staying as many players tend to fall in love with Montreal. He then talks about how the East is up for grab and how the New Jersey Devils tried getting out of the Cap Circumvention fine.

Hour 2 (The Bryan Hayes Show):

Hour 2 of The Bryan Hayes Show with TSN 1290's Jason Strudwick and NHL on TSN Host James Duthie. Hour 2 Audio

12:45 – Ken Daneyko, MSG Devils Analyst

Daneyko addresses the Martin Brodeur rumours and says that there’s not a chance that Lou Lamorello was actively shopping him since he’s got too much respect for him. He feels that there’s no chance he goes to Minnesota (note: this was prior to today’s trades) even though there is a Minnesota connection with Marty’s son playing at Shattuck.

1:00 to 2:00 – Ray Ferraro, TSN Hockey Analyst (in studio)

Ray was in for a rare studio appearance. Him and the gentlemen of Leafs Lunch talked about every trade rumour out there and what teams would have to do to get said players (Kesler, Kulikov, Hemsky, Smyth, where Carolina stands, and what Winnipeg should do to add a big body up front).

2:15 – Clark Judge, NFL Analyst

Judge talks about the proposed rule to switch up the extra point play. He examines it, saying it should happen as it has become a useless play. Judge also looks at the proposed rule of banning racial slurs on the field, saying they should ban it and the players have no say in it since it’s all in the owners’ hands.

2:30 – Scott MacArthur, TSN 1050 Jays Reporter

Scott focuses on the Jays pitching woes. He feels that some of the Jays’ young guys can possibly make the top of the rotation…but in 2 or 3 years time. Him and Bryan discuss the possibility of the Jays having a possible Miami Marlins situation by next year where they would get rid of all the big names and rebuild again. This could happen especially since the team has several team friendly contracts in Bautista, Encarnacion and Rasmus – which many teams would feel are underpaid for what they can contribute.

3:15 – Jason Strudwick, TSN 1260 Edmonton

Comes on to talk about the Oilers acquisition of Viktor Fasth, a goalie that he likes even though he’s 32, he doesn’t have that much mileage on him. He also says how he’s glad that Bryzgalov got traded since he wasn’t a big fan of him, he saw him as someone who brought in too much attention to himself. He feels that Craig MacTavish will be looking for long term help rather than acquiring draft picks or rentals prior to tomorrow’s Trade Deadline.

3:30 – James Duthie, NHL on TSN Host (in studio)

Duthie joins the show to preview tomorrow’s trade deadline. He also looks into some of the deals that happened today. Duthie thinks that there’s a big story with Garth Snow wanting to squeeze as much out of other GM’s as possible with his players which would likely blow over in his face.

He talks about how the team will monitor JVR and Kessel very closely so they're not heavily fatigued during this stretch run. He then delves into the 3-point system and how it was done to keep teams competitive for longer parts of the season, but admits to cringing whenever he sees 3-point games happen. Loiselle then admits to not hearing a lot of action around this deadline and says that they wouldn't bother going after a rental piece.

1:30 - Bob Cole, Hockey Night In Canada PXP Announcer

The Legendary Bob Cole comes on to recap the exciting Leafs/Habs game. He also gives him opinion on the shootout and says that it doesn't do anything for him since he's not a fan of it. Bob is then asked about PK Subban and explains how PK is a great young and dynamic player who's great for the league and the game of hockey in general.

2:30 - Tom Penn, ESPN NBA Analyst & Former NBA Exec.

Tom Penn discusses the tanking comments made by Bryan Colangelo and how he never told his team to lose and definitely let his young guys get more playing time. He then talks about how no coach would ever accept tanking since their team's record stays with them forever. Penn then delves into Demar Derozan's play and how important the Kyle Lowry contract will be for the Raps since they won't be able to replace the star Point Guard with someone just as good or better.

2:45 - Daniel Dale, Toronto Star

With Rob Ford about to go on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, Daniel Dale calls in live from LA to talk about the upcoming Late Night interview. Ray recaps the Heritage Classic and how Eddie Lack started in place of Roberto Luongo. He felt bad for both of them and explains how Tortorella is just starting some senseless controversy once again.
