Canada’s tennis sweetheart joins from New York covering the US Open to discuss Milos Raonic’s first round victory, as well as the pressure Eugenie Bouchard faces. Mark discusses how Genie not only dealing with pressure, but injuries too, and also talks about her gracing the cover of NY Times Magazine and the target on her back in women’s tennis.

Gregor checks in following yet another disappointing loss for the Blue Jays and breaks down some of the issues that have plagued the team throughout the month of August. Gregor discusses how some of the Jays are now trying to do too much at the plate – it’s a home run lineup with too many guys trying to change the team’s fortunes in one at bat.
Field Yates – ESPN
Field joins the show for some football talk ahead of Week 4 of the NFL preseason. Field discusses the class of young quarterbacks this season, saying that despite the lack of a bonafide superstar QB, there is still a decent amount of young talent at the position.

Tom graces the show with his presence and gives his take on new MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, who Tom got the chance to sit down with last week. Tom discusses changes to the game, saying that shortening ballgames should be the main concern, and also gives his take on the Blue Jays – saying despite early reaction to the Jays-Marlins trade two years ago, the Blue Jays didn’t bring in anyone with a winning pedigree.

Sean checks in after an eventful weekend for the Blue Jays and discusses Jose Bautista’s behaviour and the criticism he gets for his attitude with umpires and the media. Sean also discusses the possibility of Bautista asking for a trade out of Toronto, as well as all that has gone wrong for the Blue Jays – such as Mark Buehrle’s complete drop off after being the first pitcher to ten wins.

Scott joins the show to react to Jose Bautista’s comments following being ejected yesterday, and discusses Bautista’s difficulty with taking the blame. Scott says despite the fact that Bautista owes it to the fans to explain himself, Scott feels what was said is the closest to an apology that Bautista will offer.

Dan joins the show to recap a busy weekend in the Majors, and discuss the current state of the Blue Jays as they sit 5.5 games of a playoff spot. Dan chimes in on Jose Bautista’s frustration, chalking it up to a horrible month of August for the team, which has been compounded by negative outlooks and attitudes. Dan also discusses the lack of moves at the trade deadline, and credits the job Alex Anthopoulos has done despite the criticism of him.
Chris Burke – NFL Writer, Sports Illustrated
Chris joins the show following Week 3 of the NFL’s preseason and discusses the ACL injury from Sam Bradford, and whether or not Shaun Hill can step in to fill Bradford’s role. Chris also talks about how close the Rams were to contending in the NFC West, as well as the injury to Cam Newton, saying it will make or break the Panthers season.
