The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired defenceman Andy Wozniewski from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for blueliner Danny Richmond.

Wozniewski, 24, is in his fourth season in the NHL. Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Blues last July, he's played just one game with the Blues while spending the remainder of this season with the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL. He has 17 points (1 goal, 16 assists) in 56 games for Peoria.

Richmond, 24, has played in 55 games this season with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, recording 17 points and 108 penalty minutes.

Last season, he appeared in 40 games with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, registering 14 points and 156 penalty minutes.
