Red Wings send Newbury to Rangers for Owens

The Detroit Red Wings have moved forward Kris Newbury to the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Jordan Owens.
The 28-year old Newbury has spent the majority of the season with Grand Rapids of the AHL. In four games with the Wings he has scored one.
Owens has spent the entire season in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack.
