The Los Angeles Kings have added some offensive punch as they have acquired Fredrik Modin from the Columbus Blue Jackets for future considerations.

The 35-year old Modin, who has an Olympic gold medal and a Stanley Cup ring on his resume, has been limited to 24 games this season due to knee and foot injuries.  He has two goals to go along with four assists.

Modin is set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end.
