One of Canada's most-respected sports journalists, Dave Hodge has been part of the Canadian sports landscape for more than four decades.

Every Sunday morning, Hodge leads the no-holds-barred live roundtable sports debate on the acclaimed TSN The Reporters with Dave Hodge, where he delves deep into the heart of the world of sports to tackle the week's most pressing – and controversial – issues.

A Gemini Award winner, Hodge also provides commentary and analysis for TSN's extensive NHL and CFL coverage.

Hodge joined TSN in 1992 as host of TSN Inside Sports and its spinoff That's Hockey.

After attending the Radio and Television Arts program at Ryerson University, Hodge landed his first job in 1965 as a sportswriter at The Daily News in Chatham, ON, Hodge joined CFCO radio in Chatham the following year as sports director.

From 1968 to 1986, Hodge worked at the country's largest radio station, CFRB in Toronto, as a sportscaster and also provided updates to CFRB's sister station, CKFM. Hodge was the play-by-play voice of the Toronto Argonauts from 1974 to 1980 on CFRB.

In 1970, Hodge became the voice of the Buffalo Sabres, working as the play-by-play commentator on the TV broadcasts.

Hodge became a familiar face to Canadians from coast-to-coast as the host of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC from 1971 to 1987.

Hodge moved his family to Vancouver in 1986 to become sports director of CKNW radio where he worked for five years. Between 1987 and 1990, Hodge was also the play-by-play voice on The Canadian Football Network, providing league-wide coverage of all teams. In 1991, Hodge worked as the play-by-play announcer for the NHL's Minnesota North Stars.

Hodge was rewarded for his outstanding contribution to the world of sports with the Sports Media Canada's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
