One of the most talented stars in sports broadcasting today, James Duthie is the host of TSN's extensive hockey coverage. Recognized across the country for his outstanding work, Duthie's entertaining and sharp-witted style has made him a fan favourite.
In addition to his duties at TSN, Duthie was co-host of Olympic Daytime on CTV alongside Lisa LaFlamme, as well as the CTV/TSN host of Team Canada men's hockey at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Duthie reprised his role of co-host of Olympic Daytime on CTV – this time alongside Jennifer Hedger – during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
London 2012 was Duthie's fourth Olympic Games for CTV and TSN. Along with covering London 2012 and Vancouver 2010, he anchored the morning SportsCentre coverage during the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney and was on-site in Turin covering hockey at the 2006 Winter Games.
Duthie is the former co-host of the evening edition of SportsCentre, Canada's most watched sports news and information program. He also previously hosted TSN's highly acclaimed CFL studio show and NBA coverage.
Prior to joining TSN, Duthie, an Ottawa native, worked at VTV in Vancouver as both a news and sports reporter. Duthie also spent three years at CJOH-TV in Ottawa as a sports anchor.

In 2011, Duthie was honoured with his third Gemini Award, winning Best Host or Interviewer in a Sports Program or Sportscast for hosting the 2011 NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft. He was also recognized for his work as host of TSN's extensive NHL coverage, winning the Excellence in Sports Broadcasting award from Sports Media Canada.
In 2010, Duthie was honoured with a Gemini Award for Best Sportscaster/Anchor for his work on Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium's coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. In 2009, he picked up his first-ever Best Sportscaster/Anchor Gemini Award for his work as host of TSN's multi-platform 10-hour show NHL on TSN TradeCentre '09.
