TSN

Jermain Franklin is the Calgary Correspondent for SportsCentre, TSN's flagship news and information program.

Franklin, who joined TSN in September 2003, reports on the Calgary Flames and Stampeders, as well as other sports stories in the Calgary area.

Prior to joining TSN, Franklin spent three years reporting for The FAN 590 in Toronto, covering the Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, Raptors and Argonauts (2001-2003).

In addition to his extensive radio experience, Franklin also worked for Rogers Television in Toronto as the colour commentator for St. Michael's Majors hockey games (2003) and at The Score in Toronto as a floor director and editorial assistant (1999-2000).

A native of Toronto, Franklin is no stranger to Alberta, having lived with his family in Edmonton for four years (1980-1984).

Franklin graduated from the University of Windsor in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
