With reports of CFL rule change proposals dropping over the past day or so, players across the league have taken to Twitter to react to the news.

While the biggest change would affect punt returns, ultimately giving returners more space and time to break big runs, the adjustments to pass interference drew the most friendly debate between players.

After the Hamilton Spectator's Drew Edwards tweeted reported the now officially proposed pass interference adjustments, Tiger-Cats quarterback Zach Collaros replied with his approval.

It wasn't long after that Toronto Argonauts defensive back Matt Black countered with a defensive player's perspective on the proposed change, while veteran Ottawa Redblacks quarterback Henry Burris and Edmonton Eskimos receiver Shamawd Chambers got in to the action as well.

Initial reaction of the rule change proposal was they seemed to favour the receivers, potentially implemented by the league to open up scoring and produce more big plays. Black however, noted that pass catchers can be as guilty as defensive backs making contact downfield when the ball is in the air.

Several other players got in on the fun, including two of Collaros' teammates, Erik Harris and Simoni Lawrence.
