Maurice Edu headed a long cross in front of the goal and an unmarked Sapong found the back of the net.

He beat goalkeeper John McCarthy to a loose ball in the 23rd minute but his cross across the empty net was defended away by Sheanon Williams. In the 38th minute, a through ball to Shelton pulled McCarthy out of his box again but his cross was intercepted.
