(SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Vogelsong will follow Tim Lincecum's no-hitter by aiming for his second straight win when the NL West-leading San Francisco Giants begin a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds.

Vogelsong, who won at Arizona on Saturday, is 2-3 with a 5.40 ERA in nine career starts against the Reds.

Countering for Cincinnati is Mike Leake, who has been awesome at AT&T Park. In his last three starts at the stadium, he is 3-0 with a 0.78 ERA, having allowed two earned runs in 23 innings.

Leake has won two straight starts, including an eight-inning effort against Toronto on Saturday. He suffered a 6-1 loss to the Giants on June 5 when allowing eight hits and five runs over five innings.

In seven career games (six starts) against the Giants, Leake is 4-1 with a 4.38 ERA.

Lincecum threw his second career no-hitter on Wednesday -- less than a year after his first -- and was one walk away from a perfect game in a 4-0 win over the San Diego Padres.

Lincecum pitched his first no-hitter last July 13 -- on the road against the Padres, the only MLB team without a no-no in franchise history.

"Just an incredible performance. He had such great focus," said Giants manager Bruce Bochy. "He was just an artist out there."

Lincecum (6-5) retired the last 23 batters he faced after giving up a one-out walk in the second inning and struck out six. He threw 113 pitches -- 73 for strikes -- and helped himself on offense, stroking two singles and scoring two runs.

He joined Christy Mathewson as the only Giants with two career no-hitters and was the 32nd pitcher in major league history to accomplish the feat.

It was the 16th no-hitter in Giants franchise history and the ninth thrown against the Padres.

"It's hard enough to do one," said Bochy. "If you do two, it puts you in a different class."

The Reds have won four of their last five contests, including last night's 4-1 win at Wrigley Field. Jay Bruce drove in two runs and Mat Latos pitched seven strong innings Latos (1-0) gave up just a run on five hits while striking out five and Joey Votto and Skip Schumaker each drove in a run for the Reds.

"When you can go deep into your game it can help out your bullpen a lot," said Latos. "It's always key to go as deep as you can in every outing."

The Giants won two of the three meetings earlier this month. Cincinnati has beaten the Giants in the season series each year from 2011-2013.
