MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Tyson Baillie had a pair of goals as the Kelowna Rockets doubled the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 in a matchup between two nationally ranked teams in Western Hockey League action on Friday night.

Gage Quinney and Justin Kirkland also chipped in for the No. 2 Rockets (26-4-3), for their third-straight win.

Mark Rassell opened the scoring for No. 8 Medicine Hat (22-8-2). Cole Sanford found the back of the net for his 21st of the season for the Tigers' other goal.

Jackson Whistle made 32 saves for Kelowna while Marek Langhamer turned away 23 shots for Medicine Hat in the loss.

The Rockets went 1 for 4 on the man advantage while the Tigers were scoreless on six power-play chances.

SASKATOON — Justin Paulic turned aside all 25 shots he faced as Moose Jaw blanked the Blades.

Jiri Smejkal, Tanner Eberle and Torrin White scored for the Warriors (15-14-3).

Nik Amumdrud stopped 29 shots for Saskatoon (7-23-3), which hasn't won in nine games.

BRANDON, Man. — Tim McGauley had a goal and an assist as the Wheat Kings doubled up Swift Current.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Keanu Yamamoto scored the winner at 14:58 of the third period as Spokane came from behind to beat the Winterhawks.

Adam Helewka, Kailer Yamamoto and Dominic Zwerger rounded out the attack for the Chiefs (15-12-3), who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Miles Koules, Blake Heinrich and Dominic Turgeon had goals for Portland (17-14-3).

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Evan Sarthou kicked out 17 shots as Tri-City shut out Seattle.

Taran Kozun made 22 saves in net for the Thunderbirds (13-14-4).

VICTORIA — Mason Geertsen and Thomas Foster had a goal and an assist each as Vancouver doubled-up the Royals.

Jakob Stukel, Tyler Benson, Jesse Roach and Dakota Odgers supplied the rest of the offence for the Giants (14-18-0). Vancouver has now won five straight, with four of those wins coming under new head coach Claude Noel.

Jack Palmer, Brandon Magee and Axel Blomqvist all scored for Victoria (17-15-2).

EVERETT, Wash. — Tate Olson scored the eventual winner at 14:55 of the third period as Prince George used three-straight goals to beat the Silvertips.

Jansen Harkins evened the game just 1:30 into the third, while Chase Witala added an empty-netter for the Cougars (17-15-0). It was Prince George's fourth-straight win.

Kohl Bauml had a power-play goal in the first period for Everett (18-8-4).
