PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Bartek Bison scored twice as the Prince George Cougars doubled up the visiting Kamloops Blazers 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Max Martin and Jesse Gabrielle also scored for the league-leading Cougars (14-3-2) and Ty Edmonds made 37 saves for the victory.

Rudolfs Balcers and Collin Shirley scored in the second period to give the Blazers (10-9-1) a brief 2-1 lead.

Dylan Ferguson stopped 34-of-38 shots in a losing cause.

Prince George went 1 for 7 on the power play while Kamloops failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

BRANDON, Man. — Aaron Irving and Davis Koch each had a goal and two assists as Edmonton scored six unanswered goals to topple the Wheat Kings.

Davis Murray, Ty Gerla, Colton Kehler and Lane Bauer also scored for the Oil Kings (6-9-2), who got a 24-save outing from Patrick Dea.

Reid Duke struck twice and Tyler Coulter had the other to build up a 3-0 lead for Brandon (7-7-3). Logan Thompson stopped 25-of-30 shots in defeat.

CALGARY — Andrei Grishakov scored the go-ahead goal 30 seconds after Jakob Stukel tied the game at 2:07 of the third period, lifting the Hitmen over Swift Current.

Tyler Mrkonjic also scored for Calgary (6-5-2) while Kyle Dumba made 22 saves for the victory.

Lane Pederson and Tyler Steenbergen built up a 2-1 lead for the Broncos (10-6-3) through 40 minutes. Taz Burman turned away 30-of-33 shots in defeat.

EVERETT, Wash. — Mario Petit made 41 saves and five different Silvertips skaters found the back of the net en route to beating Portland.

Kevin Davis, Noah Juulsen, Patrick Bajkov, Dominic Zwerger and Riley Sutter scored as Everett (13-2-2) earned at least a point in its sixth straight game.

Skyler McKenzie and Keegan Iverson responded for the Winterhawks (8-10-0), who have lost seven in a row. Michael Bullion stopped 24-of-27 shots in defeat.

KELOWNA, B.C. — Chad Butcher scored twice and added an assist as Medicine Hat routed the Rockets.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Scott Eansor had a hat trick and Matt Berlin made 29 saves as Seattle halted the Warriors' four-game win streak.

Reece Harsh and Zack Andrusiak also found the back of the net for the Thunderbirds (7-7-1).

Moose Jaw (11-4-2) got its lone goal from Brayden Watts. Brody Willms turned away 24-of-29 shots in defeat.

Warriors forward Jayden Halbgewachs was ejected late in the first period for a checking from behind major.

SASKATOON — Braylon Shmyr scored his second of the night 35 seconds into overtime as the Blades slipped past Kootenay.

Vince Loschiavo and Zak Zborosky scored for the Ice (3-11-4), who are on a three-game skid. Jakob walter kicked out 34-of-37 shots in a losing cause.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Juuso Valimaki set up two goals in regulation then scored 55 seconds into overtime to lift Tri-City over the Chiefs.

Vladislav Lukin, Dylan Coghlan, Michael Rasmussen and Morgan Geekie also scored for the Americans (11-6-1) as Evan Sarthough made 36 saves for the victory.

Kailer Yamamoto struck twice for Spokane (6-6-5). Keanu Yamamoto and Taylor Ross also scored while Dawson Weatherill made 20 saves in defeat.

LANGLEY, B.C. — Radovan Bondra and Ty Ronning had a pair of goals apiece as Vancouver toppled Lethbridge.

Tyler Benson had a goal and two helpers for the Giants (8-11-0), who also got goals form Darian Skeoch and Jack Flaman. David Tendeck made 19 saves for the win.

Brennan Menell, Brayden Burke and Giorgio Estephan scored for the Hurricanes (7-8-3). Ryan Gilchrist kicked out 25-of-32 shots in defeat.
