SASKATOON — Travis Child stopped all 28 shots his way and Calvin Spencer had two goals and an assist as the visiting Swift Current Broncos blanked the Saskatoon Blades 6-0 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.
Brandan Arnold, Tyler Adams, Tyler Steenbergen and Noah King also scored for the Broncos (1-1-0) while Aleksi Heponiemi tacked on four assists.
Brock Hamm kicked out 25-of-31 shots for the Blades (1-1-0).
Swift Current went 2 for 5 on the power play while Saskatoon failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Skyler McKenzie struck twice and Cole Kehler made 26 saves as the Winterhawks beat Tri-City.
Henri Jokiharju, Keoni Texeira, Brendan De Jong, Ryan Hughes, Evan Weinger also scored for the Winterhawks (2-0-0).
Michael Rasmussen, Kyle Olson and Tyler Sandhu responded for the Americans (1-1-0). Beck Warm turned aside 30-of-36 shots in defeat.
