MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — John Dahlstrom scored a hat trick and added an assist as the Medicine Hat Tigers routed the Kootenay Ice 10-3 on Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.

Matt Bradley had a goal and three assists while Mason Shaw tacked on five helpers for the Tigers (7-3-1). Clayton Kirichenko, James Hamblin, Ryan Jevne, Gary Haden, Mark Rassell and Ryan Chyzowski supplied the rest of the offence.

Dallas Hines, Zak Zborosky and Max Patterson chipped in for Kootenay (1-6-4).

Nick Schneider made 34 saves for the win in net. Declan Hobbs took the loss after turning away 30-of-38 shots in 42:02. Jakob Walter played the majority of the third period and turned aside 11 shots.

Medicine Hat scored on its lone power play and didn't take any penalties of their own.

WARRIORS 3 HURRICANES 1

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Noah Gregor scored the winner and Zach Sawchenko made 21 saves as the Warriors toppled Lethbridge.

Josh Thrower and Nikita Popugaev, into an empty net, also scored for Moose Jaw (7-2-2).

Tyler Wong had the lone goal for the Hurricanes (5-5-2), who got 29 stops from Stuart Skinner.

BLAZERS 5 BRONCOS 4

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Nick Chyzowski had two goals and two assists to lead the Blazers past Swift Current.

Collin Shirley scored twice and added an assist for Kamloops (5-6-0) with Deven Sideroff adding the other. Connor Ingram made 27 saves.

Glenn Gawdin, Cole Johnson, Calvin Spencer and Brandan Arnold supplied the offence for the Broncos (8-3-1). Travis Child turned away 35 shots in defeat.

BLADES 3 GIANTS 1

VANCOUVER — Mason McCarty scored twice, including once on the power play, as Saskatoon toppled the Giants.

Jesse Shynkaruk had the winner for the Blades (6-3-1), who got 31 saves from Logan Flodell.

Thomas Foster replied for Vancouver (5-8-0), which had a four game winning streak snapped. Ryan Kubic kicked out 29 shots in net.

ROCKETS 4 SILVERTIPS 3 (OT)

KELOWNA, B.C. — Lucas Johansen scored the winner at 1:04 of overtime as the Rockets slipped past Everett.

Rodney Southam, on the power play, Devante Stephens and Nolan Foote rounded out the attack for Kelowna (4-7-0), which snapped a three-game skid. Michael Herringer stopped 19 shots in net.

Riley Sutter struck twice in the third period to tie the game and send it to extra time. Sean Richards added a power-play goal for the Silvertips (8-2-2) and Mario Petit made 20 saves. Carter Hart started in goal but was pulled after turning away 3-of-5 shots in 7:49.
