SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Dryden Hunt scored a hat trick to power the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers to a 6-3 win over the Swift Current Broncos in Western Hockey League action on Monday.

Cole Sanford, with an empty-netter, and Markus Eisenschmid had a goal and an assist apiece for Medicine Hat (37-18-3), while Ty Stanton rounded out the attack.

Jordan Thomson, Cavin Leth and Linden Penner supplied the offence for the Broncos (27-25-5).

Tigers goaltender Marek Langhamer made 23 saves in the victory.

Landon Bow started the game for Swift Current, giving up five goals on 21 shots through 40 minutes. Travis Child stopped all 15 shots he faced in 18:58 of relief.

Medicine Hat was 1 for 2 on the power play while the Broncos were 2 for 5.

REGINA — Tyler Coulter struck twice and Tim McGauley tacked on three assists as Brandon downed the Pats.

Braylon Shmyr had a goal and a helper for the Wheat Kings (43-9-6), while Peter Quenneville and Morgan Klimchuk, with an empty-net short-handed goal, rounded out the attack.

Pavel Padakin and Sam Steel each picked up two points with a goal and an assist for Regina (30-19-7). Austin Wagner also scored.

EDMONTON — Cole Bendon found the back of the net twice to lead the Oil Kings past Prince George.

Brandon Baddock, Andrew Koep, and Lane Bauer supplied the rest of the offence for Edmonton (26-26-6) with a goal and an assist apiece.

Jansen Harkins had the lone goal for the Cougars (23-33-4).
