LETHBRIDGE, - Stuart Skinner stopped all 34 shots his way as the Lethbridge Hurricanes extended their win streak to 10 games on Sunday with a 3-0 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action.

Giorgio Estephan opened the scoring for the Hurricanes (36-12-0) just 1:17 into the game and Kord Pankewicz made it 2-0 midway through the second. Egor Babenko rounded out the offence with an empty-netter late in the third.

Payton Lee kicked out 18-of-21 shots for the Oil Kings (19-23-4).

Lethbridge went 2 for 6 on the power play while Edmonton failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

ROYALS 5 GIANTS 1

VICTORIA — Jared Dmytriw struck twice to lead the Royals over Vancouver.

Joe Hicketts, Ethan Price and Tyler Soy also scored for Victoria (29-15-5) and Logan Fisher and Jack Walker chipped in with two assists apiece.

Brennan Menell had the lone goal for the Giants (18-27-5), spoiling the shutout 18:24 into the third period.

REGINA — Jayce Hawryluk had two goals and an assist and Jordan Papirny stopped all 22 shots he faced as Brandon blanked the Pats.

Tyler Coulter and Reid Duke also scored for the Wheat Kings (30-13-4), who have won three straight.

Tyler Brown made 27 saves for Regina (20-21-7).

WINTERHAWKS 4 AMERICANS 3

PORTLAND, Ore. — Alex Schoenborn broke a 3-3 deadlock at 10:53 of the third period to lift the Winterhawks over Tri-City.

Caleb Jones, Blake Heinrich and Dominic Turgeon also found the back of the net for Portland (25-21-2)

The Americans (20-28-2) got a pair of goals from Jordan Topping, with Beau McCue adding the other.
