EVERETT, Wash. - It wasn't how the Calgary Hitmen envisioned snapping their six-game winning streak.

Carson Stadnyk scored twice and added an assist as the Everett Silvertips trounced the Hitmen 7-2 on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Montreal Canadiens draft pick Nikita Scherbak, Brayden Low, Dawson Leedahl, Kohl Bauml and Matt Fonteyne rounded out the attack for the Silvertips (37-18-7). Ivan Nikolishin added three assists.

Adam Tambellini had both of Calgary's (38-19-5) goals.

Carter Hart made 41 saves for the win. Mack Shields started for the Hitmen and turned away 13-of-18 shots in 39:06. Brendan Burke went the rest of the way, making nine saves in 20:54.

Everett's Ben Betker was ejected at 4:23 of the third period after receiving a major penalty for checking to the head.

The Silvertips went 2 for 4 on the power play while holding Calgary scoreless on three chances.

REGINA — Ty Stanton had both goals for Medicine Hat as it held on to beat the Pats.

Marek Langhamer made 27 saves in net for the Tigers (38-21-3).

Taylor Cooper answered with a goal late in the third period for Regina (33-20-8), while Daniel Wapple kicked out 38 shots.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Brayden Point scored the winner on the power play in the second period as the Warriors got past Saskatoon.

Dustin Perillat started the scoring in the first for Moose Jaw (26-31-5) with Jack Rodewald adding an empty-netter.

Ryan Graham responded with a goal in the third for the Blades (18-41-4).

VANCOUVER — Michael Herringer stopped all 29 shots he faced as Kelowna blanked the Giants.

Edmonton Oilers prospect Leon Draisaitl, Gage Quinney, Dillon Dube and Rodney Southam scored for the Rockets (48-10-4).

Payton Lee started in goal and made eight saves in 21:22 for Vancouver (26-32-3). Cody Porter finished out the game, turning away 13-of-15 shots in 38:38.

KENT, Wash. — Jansen Harkins scored 33 seconds into overtime and had three assists as Prince George edged the Thunderbirds.

Zach Pochiro led the offence in regulation with two goals and two assists for the Cougars (25-33-4). Jordan Ross and Jari Erricson also chipped in.

Shea Theodore, Cory Millette, Roberts Lipsbergs and Luke Osterman supplied the offence for Seattle (31-22-8).
