VICTORIA -- Tyler Soy had a hat trick and added an assist as the Victoria Royals dominated the Red Deer Rebels in a 6-2 win on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Greg Chase, Brandon Magee and Chaz Reddekopp also chipped in for Victoria (29-20-4), which won its third straight. Coleman Vollrath stopped 26 shots for the win in net.

Colton Bobyk and Austin Adamson scored for the Rebels (28-17-8). Rylan Toth kicked out 28-of-33 shots in 58:14.

The Royals scored twice on seven power plays while Red Deer was 1 for 6.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. -- Pavel Karnaukhov scored twice on the power play as Calgary hung on to edge the Raiders.

Chase Lang had the game-winning goal at 16:24 of the third for the Hitmen (30-17-5), who have now won seven in a row.

Simon Stransky started the scoring in the first on the power play for Prince Albert (21-31-2). Calgary would score the next three before Craig Leverton found the back of the net late in the third. It was the Raiders' fourth-straight loss.

WHEAT KINGS 4 ICE 1

CRANBROOK, B.C. -- Tim McGauley scored his 34th of the season as Brandon netted three straight and beat the Ice.

Nolan Patrick and Morgan Kilmchuk also had goals for the Wheat Kings (40-9-5) while Reid Duke added another as Brandon improved to 11-0-1 in its last 12 games.

Zak Zborosky replied in the third period for Kootenay (27-26-1).

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. -- Kade Jensen and Jamal Watson found the back of the net in the second period as Lethbridge topped the Tigers for its third win in a row.

Ryley Lindgren and Devan Fafard also scored for the Hurricanes (15-31-6).

Cole Sanford replied with his 43rd of the season for Medicine Hat (35-15-3). It was the fourth loss in a row for the Tigers.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. -- Justin Kirkland scored twice in a four-goal first period for Kelowna, which went on to beat the Blazers.

Rourke Chartier, Dillon Dube and Tyson Baillie supplied the rest of the offence for the Rockets (41-8-4).

Jake Kryski and Matt Revel each had a goal for Kamloops (20-29-6).

Quinn Benjafield of the Blazers received a major penalty for checking to the head and a game misconduct at 14:42 of the third period.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. -- Cole Benson scored 2:12 into overtime as Edmonton slipped past the Cougars.

Ashton Sautner tied the game at on the power play in the third period for the Oil Kings (25-24-6). The win snaps a three-game losing skid.

David Soltes opened the scoring on the man advantage for Prince George (21-31-3).

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Beau McCue struck twice and added an assist as the Americans hung on to beat Everett.

Richard Nejezchleb scored 51 seconds into the second period for Tri-City (25-25-3), which snapped a four-game skid. Lucas Nickles had the eventual winner in the third period.

After Montreal Canadiens prospect Nikita Scherbak scored to open the game for the Silvertips (33-16-4), the Americans would reply with four straight. Dawson Leedahl and Remi Laurencelle started a late rally for Tri-City, which entered having won its last two in a row.

KENT, Wash. -- Taran Kozun turned aside all 38 shots he faced as the Thunderbirds won their fourth straight by shutting out Vancouver.

Mathew Barzal, Cory Millette and Nolan Volcan all found the back of the net for Seattle (27-19-6).

Cody Porter made 36 saves in goal for the Giants (21-29-3).

Vancouver's Vladimir Bobylev and Arvin Atwal were both ejected during the game. Bobylev received an instigator minor, fighting major and game misconduct at 11:18 of the second period while Atwal got a major for fighting and game misconduct at the end of the game.
