SASKATOON - Brett Stovin scored three times and set up one more as the Saskatoon Blades extended their win streak to four games by downing the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Nick Zajac and Ryan Graham each had a goal and two assists for the Blades (13-29-3) while Amil Krupic added a goal an assist. Brock Hamm stopped 31 shots in the win.

Axel Blomqvist scored for the Warriors (20-25-4) as Brody Willms made 26 saves in defeat.

Saskatoon went 3 for 5 on the power play while Moose Jaw failed to convert on three chances with the man advantage.

BRANDON, Man. — Ryan Pilon, Reid Duke and Duncan Campbell each scored twice and Jordan Papirny made 24 saves as the Wheat Kings handed Regina its fifth-straight loss.

Rihards Bukarts and Quintin Lisoway also scored for Brandon (35-9-4), which extended its win streak to six contests.

Adam Brooks, Pavel Padakin and Rykr Cole supplied the scoring for the Pats (26-17-5). Daniel Wapple allowed six goals on 43 shots before giving way to Tyler Brown, who stopped 10-of-12 shots in 14:42 of relief.

EDMONTON — Adam Tambellini scored twice and Mack Shields made 21 saves as Calgary came from behind to beat the Oil Kings.

Connor Rankin scored once and set up two more for the Hitmen (26-17-5) while Elliott Peterson and Beck Malenstyn added a goal apiece.

Marshall Donald and Brett Pollock gave Edmonton (22-20-6) an early 2-0 lead before Calgary stormed back. Tristan Jarry stopped 31 shots in defeat.

RED DEER, Alta. — Rylan Toth made 28 saves and the Rebels broke out to a four-goal lead halfway through the game en route to defeating Vancouver.

Haydn Fleury, Evan Polei, Riley Sheen, Brooks Maxwell and Wyatt Johnson scored for Red Deer (27-14-6), which improved to 7-0-1 in its past eight games.

Carter Popoff scored twice for the Giants (20-26-2) and capped a three-point night with an assist on a goal from Zane Jones. Cody Porter gave up four goals on 16 shots before Payton Lee came on in relief to stop 15-of-16 shots in 26:36.

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Austin Vettrl scored twice and Luke Philp had a goal and an assist as Kootenay toppled Swift Current.

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Jayden Sittler stopped 52 shots and Florian Baltram scored twice as the Hurricanes snapped a five-game skid with a win over Prince George.

Giorgio Estephan scored once and set up two more for Lethbridge (11-28-6) while Tyler Wong, Andrew Nielsen, Kord Pankewicz and Mike Winther added the others.

Jansen Harkins had a pair of goals for the Cougars (20-28-2), who are winless in nine outings, and Jared Bethune scored once. Ty Edmonds allowed four goals on 17 shots before Patrick Gora took over for the final 29:47. Gora stopped 12-of-15 shots in relief.
