CRANBROOK, B.C. — Riley Woods scored 2:20 into overtime and Tyler Brown made 46 saves as the Regina Pats downed the Kootenay Ice 5-4 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Sam Steel struck twice in regulation for the Pats (20-2-4) while Jake Leschyshyn and Adam Brooks added a goal each.

Brooks leads the WHL in scoring with 46 points, all coming during his current 20-game point streak. Steel is right behind him in second with 44 points in 21 contests.

Vince Loschiavo had a pair of goals and Zak Zborosky scored once and set up two more for the Ice (6-17-8), who also got a goal from Noah Philp.

Payton Lee kicked out 39-of-44 shots in defeat.

Regina went 0 for 1 on the power play while Kootenay scored once on eight chances with the man advantage.

BLADES 4 WARRIORS 3 (SO)

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Michael Farren scored in the shootout and Brock Hamm made 33 saves as Saskatoon came from behind to beat the Warriors.

Chase Wouters and Jesse Shynkaruk scored in the final two minutes of regulation to force overtime for the Blades (11-17-2), who snapped a three-game slide. Caleb Fantillo had the other.

Brett Howden, Noah Gregor and Jayden Halbgewachs built up a 3-1 lead for Moose Jaw (16-6-5), which got a 31-save outing from Zach Sawchenko.

HITMEN 3 RAIDERS 2

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Jordy Stallard broke a 2-2 deadlock at 15:47 of the third as Calgary edged the Raiders to snap a five-game losing streak.

Carsen Twarynski and Beck Malenstyn also scored for the Hitmen (9-14-2) while Cody Porter stopped 22-of-24 shots for the win.

Ian Scott gave Prince Albert (6-29-1) a chance by making 39 saves. Sean Montgomery and Simon Stransky supplied the scoring.
