The Winnipeg Jets (22-21-6) are at Madison Square Garden for a 6pm ct face off against the New York Rangers (30-12-4).
TSN 1290's coverage begins with Hustler & Lawless at 3pm ct. Rick Ralph hosts the official Jets pre-game show at 5pm ct. Shane Hnidy, Paul Edmonds and Brian Munz will have the play-by-play.
The Jets did not skate Tuesday morning following last night's 2-1 loss in Carolina.
Head coach Claude Noel told TSN Radio 1290 that forward Alexander Burmistrov, who left Monday night's game in the third period with an upper-body injury, will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.
If Burmistrov cannot play, the Jets recalled forward Aaron Gagnon from the AHL's St. John's IceCaps. To make room on the roster for Gagnon, the Jets placed forward Evander Kane on the Injured Reserve List, retroactive to Jan. 19.
Gagnon has eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 32 games with the Ice Caps this season. He has 21 games of NHL experience with the Dallas Stars over the past two seasons.
Kyle Wellwood and Toby Enstrom are on five-game point streaks. Wellwood has one goal and six assists, while Enstrom has three goals and two assists.
Nik Antropov, a former Ranger, has three goals and three assists in his last four games.
Ondrej Pavelec (WPG) and Henrik Lundqvist (NYR) are expected to be the starting goaltenders.
The Rangers have added Chad Johnson to their roster from AHL Hartford, as Martin Biron is battling the flu.
Marian Gaborik is on a four-game point streak (two goals and three assists).
Carl Hagelin is on a three-game point streak (one goal and two assists).
Winnipeg is 0-2 against New York this season. The Rangers were 3-0 winners in Winnipeg on November 6th and earned a 2-1 decision prior to that on October 24th.
The Jets are off following Tuesday's game for the NHL All-Star festivities in Ottawa.
