Noel also told TSN 1290 that Evander Kane and Tim Stapleton both skated today at MTS Centre under the guidance of Strength and Conditioning Coach Lee Stubbs. Stapleton is hopeful to play Tuesday when the Jets return home against Toronto. No timetable has been set for Kane.
The Panthers enter tonight with only one regulation loss in their last six games, and are three points ahead of Winnipeg for first place in the Southeast Division.
Mikael Samuelsson has scored three goals in his last two games.
Stephen Weiss and Tomas Fleischmann also have one goal and two assists in their last two games.
Kris Versteeg returns to the Florida line-up after missing Wednesday's game due to illness. In three games against the Jets, Versteeg has five goals and two assists.
Scott Clemmensen is 2-0-1 in his last three starts, and will play his fourth consecutive game tonight.
