Munz: Pavelec gets the start as Jets host Maple Leafs

The (4-4-1) Winnipeg Jets host the (5-5) Toronto Maple Leafs in a 7:00 face off tonight at MTS Centre.
 
Ondrej Pavelec starts in goal for the Jets, who are coming off a 3-2 overtime win Tuesday against Florida.

Toby Enstrom, who leads all NHL defenseman in scoring, enter the game on a 7 game point streak (2 goals & 9 assists).
 
Bryan Little is on a 2 game point streak (1 goal & 1 assist).
 
Zach Bogosian took part in the pregame skate for the 1st time this season.  Head Coach Claude Noel told TSN 1290 he has not set a time table for when Bogosian will play.
 
The Jets penalty kill remains last in the NHL, but improved in Tuesday's win over Florida, and now is at 62%.
 
The Leafs are coming off a 3-2 win Tuesday in Washington, which was the start to a 3 game road trip which concludes Saturday in Montreal.
 
Toronto has the 4th best road record in the NHL at 4-1.
 
Morweena's James Reimer will start in goal.
 
It's a special night for Reimer, Head Coach Randy Caryle, Colton Orr, Frazer McLaren and goaltending coach Rick St. Croix.
 
Reimer, McLaren and Orr are all from Manitoba.
 
Carlyle starred for the Jets as a player and was General Manager & Head Coach of the Manitoba Moose.  St. Croix was goalie coach for the Moose.
 
Former Moose Mike Brown is on the trip, but will not play due to injury.

Following tonight's game, the Jets play Saturday afternoon in Ottawa (1:00 on TSN 1290), then return to MTS Centre for games next week vs Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Boston.
