The (3-3) Winnipeg Jets host the (3-2) Montreal Canadiens tonight at MTS Centre.

Shane Hnidy joins me on TSN 1290 for the radio broadcast, while Dennis Beyak, Mike Johnson and Sara Orlesky will describe the action on TSN Jets.

Goaltender Ondrej Pavelec returns to crease after getting Sunday's game off to witness Al Montoya earn the shut out over New Jersey.

Jets Projected Lines:

Kane-Little-Wheeler
Ladd-Scheifele-Frolik
Tangradi-Jokinen-Setoguchi
Wright-Slater-Halischuk

Byfuglien-Enstrom
Trouba-Bogosian
Stuart-Postma

Evander Kane has 15 shots on goal in the last two games.

This is a big night in the NHL's Central Division as for the first time all seven teams are in action. First-place Colorado hosts 6th-place Dallas, 2nd-place St. Louis is at home to San Jose, 3rd-place Minnesota is at Toronto, 4th-place Chicago play in Carolina, and Florida goes up against the last place Predators in Nashville.

Montreal comes into this game winning their last two straight, including Saturday's 4-1 decision in Vancouver.

Carey Price will start in goal.

Canadiens Projected Lines:

Pacioretty-Eller-Gionta
Bourque-Desharnais-Prust
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gallagher
Moen-White-Briere

Markov-Subban
Gorges-Diaz
Bouillion-Beaulieau

Two milestones will be achieved tonight as Brian Gionta plays his 700th NHL game, while this is the 500th game for Josh Gorges.

Max Pacioretty has scored in back to back games and is on a three-game point streak (two goals and one assist).

P.K. Subban has seven points (one goal and six assists) in his last four games.

Winnipeg will be without the services of forward Chris Thorburn for the fifth-straight game due to injury. Not dressing tonight for the Canadiens due to injury are Douglas Murray, George Parros, Davis Drewiske and Alexei Emelin.

This is the only game Montreal plays in Winnipeg this season.  The Jets play at the Bell Centre February 2nd.
