The Winnipeg Jets continue a six game homestand at MTS Centre against the Nashville Predators on Sunday. So far, the Jets have a 2-2 record, with wins over New Jersey and St. Louis along with losses to Dallas and Montreal.
Shane Hnidy joins me on TSN Radio 1290 for the broadcast, while you can watch the game on TSN Jets with Dennis Beyak, Brian Engblom and Sara Orlesky.
This is the first of five games between these Central Division teams. The Predators are in fourth place with a 4-3-1 record; one point ahead of the 4-4 Jets.
Ondrej Pavelec (3-4, 3.00, .907) is expected to start his third straight game in goal.
Devin Setoguchi returns to the lineup after being a healthy scratch Friday. Head coach Claude Noel says "I want Devin more around the puck and involved, if he does that it will be a good." Setoguchi did not have a point in his last five games.
Nashville is coming off a 2-1 win in Montreal Saturday night and did not skate Sunday morning at MTS Centre.
They are 3-0-1 in their last four games.
Thunder Bay, Ontario native Carter Hutton is expected to start in goal for the Predators. His lone appearance this season came October 3 against St. Louis, when he made 21 saves in a 3-1 loss relieving Pekka Rinne.
Nashville points leader Mike Fisher is a game-time decision due to a lower-body injury. He missed his first game of the season Saturday night.
